My Journey

It’s been a year since I started my freelance journey in Vietnam, and the experience has been a rollercoaster of growth, challenges, and rewards. Working from the vibrant city of Nha Trang has been both exciting and eye-opening. The flexibility of freelancing has given me the freedom to design my own schedule, but it also came with the need for discipline and structure, something that wasn’t as easy to master at first.

Living in Vietnam has offered me the opportunity to work with clients from around the world, which has expanded my portfolio and pushed my creative boundaries. However, being in a different time zone and managing remote communication can sometimes be a struggle, but it’s taught me the importance of effective time management and setting clear expectations.

The freelance lifestyle in Vietnam has also helped me grow beyond just work. The laid-back culture and the emphasis on balance have reminded me to take breaks, explore new places, and find inspiration outside of my desk. It’s easy to get caught up in deadlines, but Vietnam’s slower pace of life has shown me the value of slowing down to recharge.

Looking back, I see how much I’ve evolved as a designer and as an entrepreneur. The year has taught me the importance of adapting, staying focused on personal growth, and constantly learning. As I move forward, I’m excited about the future and all the opportunities this freelance journey continues to bring.
